Citizen Journalism and Slum Development: the Case of the Voice of Kibera (Vok)

This book explores the role of citizen journalism in the improvement of slums taking the Voice of Kibera (VOK), Kenya as a case study. Specifically, the book assesses the nature of citizen journalism, its perceived contribution and the challenges/sustainability in the practice.
