The book of Proverbs, in the bible, has always been, for me, the one book I would not go near for fear of getting too confused when preaching, because of its nature and because of some of the language contained therein. This book then, was a bit of a challenge to write, in this series of books on the entire bible as we see it - apocrypha to follow at some point - and was undertaken with a fairly high degree of uncertainty when I began it just over a month ago. It will refresh, I hope and it will challenge, I hope. If it does both, then it is a success, especially if it reassures you in your faith. Rob Johnson December 2020
