26. septembra 2026 bo izšel "Joy Division Eternal", popolnoma nov live-box set enega najvplivnejših bendov vseh časov.

Komplet združuje nešteto zvočnih virov, od posnetkov občinstva do trakov z mešalne mize in mednarodnih radijskih oddaj, ter vsebuje 16 celotnih avdio posnetkov koncertov, razdeljenih na 14 CD-jev, plus pribl. 2 uri in 20 minut live videa na DVD-ju, posnetega med marcem 1979 in majem 1980, le dva tedna pred tragično smrtjo Iana Curtisa.

Kakovost zvoka iz teh virov se zelo razlikuje. Večina posnetkov občinstva zveni točno tako, kot so – posneti s strani oboževalca v množici – in številni koncerti so bili široko razširjeni kot bootlegi. Čeprav bi to v normalnih okoliščinah lahko povzročilo neoptimalno komercialno ponudbo, ima Warner Music v tem primeru polno zaupanje, da se bodo oboževalci Joy Division veselili teh uradnih bootlegov in uživali v posnetkih višje kakovosti, še posebej tistih, ki jih prej niso slišali.

Kot nadaljevanje prejšnjih izdaj New Order Definitive Edition bo Eternal predstavljen v 12-palčni škatli, z mnogimi diski, predstavljenimi v 4 digipakih, + mehko vezana 12-palčna knjiga z novimi opombami britanskega dvornega pesnika in oboževalca Joy Division, Simona Armitagea, ter fotografijami band fotografov Antona Corbijna in Kevina Cumminsa.
