The Long Decay
Britta Jenson Pitzl
The Long Decay is a collection of poetry that attempts to capture moments between moments, the white space between stanzas. Britta Jenson Pitzl's words are dripping with nostalgia and explore the complicated nature of holding memories close alongside present. Growing up feels like deteriorating- our bodies and our circumstances change and it sometimes feels like one big extended autumn. Beautiful, sometimes. Ending, inevitably. This debut collection explores the idea of growing up and coming to terms with that.
