As 2016 dawns, a politicized CIA engages in a conspiracy with a beautiful and mysterious Islamic terrorist to assassinate a candidate for President of the United States. The tentacles of that conspiracy will reach an ego-maniacal L. A. mobster plotting to take control of the Apache Reservation, establish a clandestine meth lab, and eventually, gain control of the Chicago mob's Las Vegas operations. The Arizona desert becomes the vortex of both schemes that eventually involve all of the survivors from Flashman's award winning novel, Apache Dunes, plus introduces new and memorable characters. The action is non-stop and the body count will require a calculator-all leading to another classic Flashman ending!
