Harbor View, Oregon, is a small town on the Pacific Coast. It is the home of Laser Surge Technology. The scientists of Laser Surge Technology have developed a laser weapon to be used for United States Missile Defense System. It seems that there are several countries interested in acquiring this technology.
The Rock Street Five is a group of five students who attend Harbor View High School. They plan to build a roller blade and skateboard park for students. They believe it is necessary to create more youth activities to combat a teenage drinking problem. Their activities at Harbor View High School reflect the normal flow of high school life. There are happy times and sad times.
The arrival of Mike Locke, an exchange student, adds a new dimension to the life at Harbor View. Murder and espionage join a worldwide conspiracy to gain the laser technology. The Rock Street Five find themselves pulled into an international spy mystery through an unusual sequence of events. Their story is a testimony to the goodness found in people. We are often challenged to be more than average in order to do what is right.
