Imagine all the people living life in peace. Now imagine Curtis Schmidt living his life in pieces of misery and heartache. In Curt's mind, Heaven didn't exist. When he died, he found out he was right. Curtis reminisces about his past and questions why, before his meltdown causes him to lose temporary control of his sanity. He lashes out at God, causing a series of accidents to occur, sending him to the afterlife. Here he finds out that Heaven no longer existed, due to all the negative energy on earth. Curt proceeds on a gruesome passage through Hell, with the help of his reunited family in an attempt to make things right in Heaven. Along the way he finds that the second coming of Christ occurred and it was missed. He finds out what happens to children who died an untimely death.
