Book 2 of the Legends Series: Nearly four decades after the myth is discovered to be a hoax, the people of Wellington still fear the legend that an evil spirit still guards over the nearby mining ghost town, Silver Spring. But now that three enterprising youngsters have discovered the private journals written by a former Silver Spring resident and the 1967 scholar who disproved the legend, more astounding discoveries surface. Secrecy, now, is the key to protecting their breakthrough--a hidden treasure that may really exist. A figure from the past, however, is attempting to ruin their plans.
