Fixing My Last Millennium
Dr. Paul Williams
Fixing My Last Millennium is a glorious and humorous dissection of real-life experiences and the various attempts made to survive them. Paul Williams has arranged his personal collection of second millennium experiences into a series of special rooms (or chapters), to lay bare the funnier side of second millennium life in the hope that it will help the reader to survive the third. Hence, since the third millennium is likely to be his (and our) last, suspended animation technology not withstanding, herewith he bequeaths his legacy to the real world. Everything in the book is true, and all the furniture is real, not a reproduction. Around 100,000 words of wisdom guide the reader through event after event of humorous climax, given from a Bryson-Cleese type merger of perspective and tangential fun. Since the author has a Ph. D., you could call him an egghead, yet his writing is distinctly non-vegetarian. It should therefore appeal to everyone who has at least some kind of appetite.
