Curiosisosity Greg Bachar 1. izdaja

This volume contains a selection of poems, stories and experiments by Greg Bachar (pronounced ?BOCKER?). Bachar?s ?curiosisosities? capture moments in a world where cows replace clouds, magnesium sparks fly from eyes, live wasps are served at dinner parties, the moon cries tears for its first love, the Earth, and winged clocks fly through the air like hummingbirds. "Maybe it was the years spent in Europe or his voracious appetite for the Surrealists, their contemporaries, and their literary antecedents, but much of Bachar?s work has a continental feel to it. Daniil Kharms comes to mind, for there is a beautifully bureaucratic sense of humor at work, which is tempered by love?s twin demons, loneliness and melancholy." --William D.
