Dashiell Rex Barker wants to live up to his name and what better way than to attend a workshop at the highly renowned Antioch Writers? Workshop? Unfortunately, the bartender-cum-author puts the same effort into writing as he does into everything else in his life and quickly finds himself in over his head. Especially when the bodies start dropping and he?s the prime suspect.

The mayhem begins when Rex receives a less than favorable critique delivered by a Workshop celebrity, Dallas McGuire.
