The headlines are full of teen suicides, bullying, school shootings - yet often we trivialize our youth. Or even worse, we forget about them in that time capsule of modern education. "Sum it up for us, give us the report card." In his debut novel, Errol Zoog explores this world where the illusion of maturity comes earlier than ever, yet through the common rituals of sex drugs and rock and roll, the narrator may only be able to find truth through an uncoming of age. A great read for parents and educators, or anyone who once was, or is planning on someday being, eighteen.
