The Prayer That Makes a Difference Janet Clark Shay

Do you long to learn how to pray but you don't know where to begin? Do you desire to see answers to your prayers-to be certain you have reached the ear of God-but you're uncertain how to go about it? And what does it mean to have a dynamic prayer life anyway? Can all believers have it, or is it meant for only a few?

One of the greatest regrets we will have when we get to heaven will be when we discover all that God would have done. Either we did not ask, or we failed to ask according to His will, and therefore, we never received. The Prayer That Makes a Difference embraces a prayer life based upon God's Word. It presents simple methods all believers can adapt to begin a vibrant and consistent conversation with our Lord.

Oma Van Gelderen was an unassuming woman who grew to walk by faith and not by sight as she came to understand the witness of the Holy Spirit as more than merely a feeling. Her faithful prayer life encourages all who desire to be intercessors that God is ready to answer. However, His will is not automatic. His promises must be obtained by faith, and prayer expresses that faith.

In addition to miracles of prayer through Oma's own life, this inspirational prayer book includes the biblical principle behind Oma's prayers. "Three Connected Truths Concerning Prayer" by evangelist, John Van Gelderen in included with specific examples of biblical prayer.
