Rick Warren and Alex Moreno are veteran homicide detectives with the Phoenix police department. When they are called on an early morning case-a young woman brutally butchered and dumped behind a store-the partners find similarities to a series of serial murders committed years before. At her request, Rick Warren also teams up with Cindy Cable, a beautiful and tenacious investigative reporter. As they dig deeper into each case, more doors are opened which will ultimately lead to a roller-coaster ride toward the true killer's identity.
