The third book of the series finds Jerry Moon in hellish trouble within the vampiric lair of the mysterious S-Branch, deep in rural Wales. He enlists the help of a gang of supernatural allies, old and new against the vile Colonel Zawadski and his henchman, Major Hamilton (from book 2). What results is a typical Mooniverse romp which sees our heroes encountering Special Ops trained vampire commandos, killer trees, subterranean rat-trolls, massive cosmic entities, faeries, demons, an ancient Welsh sorcerer, dragons, a Goddess and an even bigger supernatural pussy cat than last time (and her kittens). Uri, the Goth vampire, and his two beautiful companions, join in to resume their fight to purge the Earth of all vampires but themselves and to play a bit of Psychobilly on the side. Sonia learns why psychic warriors need to watch what they eat. Moon's tiny ghost friend, Anna, meets one of 'The Powers That Be' and isn't impressed. Sonia's mate Avril drags her feckless bassist boyfriend, Roger, along for the ride and he teaches us the importance of Abba in psychological warfare. This book is evocative of the epic Welsh folk tale collection, the Mabinogion - but not much!
