"Elevator to the Moon" was inspired by the Guster song ("Satellite.") The story centers around an aerospace engineer Jamison. When Jamison walks to his mailbox, out of the sky, shooting down onto his side walk, is a package from the Moon. When his mysterious neighbor takes notice, Jamison believes this may belong to the neighbor. When he does some deep investigating, he discovers that his neighbor may have left behind a family on the moon. This was one mission that had been hushed for specific reasons and Jamison wants to discover why.
