Many of us are not strangers to setbacks and challenges. Life has its twists and turns, and you can be headed down a perfectly well thought out plan and direction for your life, but only to experience an unexpected circumstance that takes you in the opposite direction. You might ask yourself so where do I go from here? How can I bounce back from this difficult situation? Where do I find the strength and motivation to experience resilience when it seems as though I'm in a downward spiral, with no clear path on how to move forward?So many times, we are told "it will be alright" and "things will get better" but rarely are we given the guide on how to move forward so we can still conquer our goals and reach our destiny. When I was in the shoes you may be in today, it wasn't until I decided that defeat was not an option for me, that I was able to regain hope and not allow the unexpected, to deny me of God's purpose for my life. Since that revelation and my personal experience with resilience, my goal has been to empower and encourage others to not give up. In Resilience, my sister and my brother I not only tell you, but I show you that you are not alone, and there is a way to move forward. Through personal testimonies and biblical stories, I share those paths that others walked or are walking in today as an illustration that resilience is an option for you too. Expert advice is also provided to further reiterate and emphasize this point. I even pose questions for discussion and reflection.
