Really? There are those seekers who journey to faraway unknown places to which they experience unique cultures and vast differences from where they came from. There are those seekers who turn to the age-old practice of pilgrimage to shed humiliation of their mind that ultimately offers spiritual renewal. I embarked on my quest in the land of horses. It was a time of wonder. A time of magic. I felt their presence way before I felt the softness of their muzzle. This book of essays is my journey with the horse. A journey that took me literally from one coast to the other. As I followed the scent of their legendary magic, I discovered complex conditions, discouraging circumstances, delightful people, and a whole new world that was waiting for me to master. This book is my gift the horses gave me. I am forever grateful for their grace.
