How do we faithfully pursue the completion of the Great Commission? We make sure we do what Jesus said to do in Matthew 28:18-20. We "make disciples of all nations." Those were his last words to His disciples, a group of men with whom He had spent the last three years of His life and in whom He had invested the majority of his time, training, and teaching. Discipleship is an intentional and structured time of growth toward spiritual maturity under the direction of another Christian during which the fundamentals of a mature Christian life are taught and modeled. Man Maker is a conversational and teaching pathway that can guide the disciple-making process. It's intent is to go beyond the typical workbook-style resources that provide a reading and discussion question format that results in completion of the questions rather than the making of a disciple. By contrast, this book is designed to introduce and guide meaningful teaching and conversation with the end goal of spiritual maturity and disciples of Jesus who know what it looks like to make more disciples. Each chapter features four sections that include some conversational background reading, key scriptures, a memory verse, and discussion questions. Chuck has also developed a discussion question guide to help first-time users of Man Maker navigate the discussion questions with their disciples.
