Most of us have felt the giddiness of a first "true love" and the unbelievable feeling of happiness and of being complete that comes with being in that state of euphoria. Then, when we commit to each other, "In sickness and in health, till death do us part," our feelings of love grow even stronger; and when we hold our first child in our arms, it becomes stronger, still. When the warmth of that love is doused by unfaithfulness and betrayal, some never recover from the smoldering embers and their lives are, forever, changed for the worse.
