Poetry Heals The Heart
Sunday Thomas
There is nothing like finding that perfect poem to help validate your feelings. When we are grieving, we keep so much inside of us. Sometimes the pain is so unbearable that it can't even be explained. I lost my identical twin sister. The year before losing her I lost my mother. The year after losing her I lost my father. I definitely know what grief feels like. Yes, these poems are from a twin's perspective. However, if you have lost anyone who you have a close knit bond with, these poems will resonate with you. Your feelings will finally have a voice. Your heart will be cleansed. You may also be able to see what a twin bond is all about.
