Based in Toronto, Canada, Paul is the author of many books. James H. Russell became acquainted with the Internet in 1997 while he was a student at Indiana University in Indianapolis. He quickly became engulfed in the Internet, becoming editor in chief at Amiga.org and later a member of the Mozilla community, where he worked with Mozilla.org staff and contributors to rewrite the release notes and README file for the Mozilla .6 and 1.0 releases.
