A Home In Your Heart
Michael Odermann
This charming gift of children's art and photography is the product of Watanili, a Syrian-run NGO on the border of Turkey and Syria. The center helps meet the mental and emotional needs of displaced children through education and the arts. The boys and girls featured in these pages are among the over 5 million Syrians displaced since 2011. This book, with photos and pictures produced entirely by the children it features, is a perfect way to introduce kids to the Syrian humanitarian crisis. All proceeds from the sale go to support the yearly operational costs of Watanili.
