The Fanciulla Fate

There?s malice in the fabulous world of superstar musicians, as ruthless kidnappers, for the oddest of reasons, snatch the children of world famous singer Mia Mitsouros. One of the kidnappers threatens over the phone to murder the children if Mia does not obey his commands to the letter. Terrified, she swears her co-star Tony Amato to silence, knowing if he confides in his wife Jen, she, wanting to help, will over-ride Mia and tell the police. This silence leads to a serious misunderstanding between Tony and Jen.

The distraught Mia is unable to sing, and is replaced by the African American singer Valentina Welles. Valentina unwittingly brings racial violence to the already troubled rehearsals.

Days pass, as Mia and her lover Cedric try frantically to obtain the release of the endangered children. Those affected by the kidnapping are forced to reassess their own lives, as events move to a shattering climax.
