Priscilla is a lonely Puffer Fish who can't come out from hiding because everyone thinks she's mean. She appears to be mean because her defense mechinisms, her quills, come out at all the wrong times. When she gets embarrassed, which is all the time, her quills come out, making her look mean and scary. When in fact she's exactly the opposite, she's very nice. She's just very nervous about making friends and very frustrated from getting made fun of her whole life. One day, she decides to face her fears and peeks out from behind the reef to meet the next fish swimming by...... She meets Chloe, the Cowfish... and they become great friends. Chloe, who also has faults, has been made fun of her entire life too. She's also very lonely. They face their foes and turn their lives around. They become great friends, and peace fills the waters.
