NO THANKS What small and puny men we are No thanks for life to give But take each blessing as though it's ours A selfish life to live No thanks for food before us spread No thanks for health itself Too busy Lord, I guess we are To gather things of wealth Too busy just to pause in thanks Ungrateful creatures we I'm sure when He looks down on us Ungratefulness He sees Too busy with the things about No prayer of thanks above But take for granted all these things The blessings of His love I pray that I, for one will learn To give My thanks to Thee In all things Lord, the big and small My life may grateful be.
