Although my characters are fictitious the novel deals with the Slovaks endless struggle for survival. For a thousand years they were under the boot of the invading barbaric Huns. During the reign of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the early nineteen hundred Slovaks migrated to America where life was hard but eventually fruitful. The defeat of the Hungarian during World War I, finally brought justice and equality the two main characters Jon and Stasha are involved in a romantic relationship that will baffle the imagination.
