Patsy Pixel Swallowing Manhattan was designed to show kids that choosing your friends wisely is a very good idea and can be very profitable in the end. Patsy Pixel, a thirteen-year-old girl, and her family move from Louisiana to Manhattan for a better life. Patsy, the main character, just becomes friends with anybody that shows her attention like Lilly Limburg. Patsy and Lilly eventually get into trouble with other classmates, especially one from another school named Diana. This story is full of excitement, adventure, some trouble, good family love, and tours of Manhattan with Patsy's mother and father.
