This started out to be about the R. C. M. Police schooner St. Roch through its history making fi rst transit of the North West Passage from Pacifi c to Atlantic, a 10,000 mile voyage lasting 27 months. This was followed by upgrade of Royal Canadian Mounted Police communications, digital computation and development of the world's largest simulator. Los Angeles industry and aerospace provided more application engineering challenges. Examples are tracking stations such as Goldstone and Woomera. I wrote the specifi cation for automation of oil production in the 1750 well Posas Oil Lease and oil platforms Hope and Heidi. After that, came real estate and property management. Now, we have found ways to improve the world we live in with better crop yields, fuel economy, reduced pollution and energy recycling
