Preface If you were trying to escape from a German prisoner of war camp, how would you go about it? When David Bell gets an unusual idea on this subject, it catches on like wildfire, in fact life in the POW camp is never the same afterwards. If he will accept it I would like to dedicate this tale to my good friend David Thorpe who's idea it was, I am sure that if he had put his thoughts into action, then you would have been entertained better, but in the meantime here are my efforts.
