Self-convicted

This book contains the story based upon true events of a period within the earlier years of my life. I believed the ultimate goal of life, is the pursuit of, and devotion to pleasure. I believed all men associated the ideas of power and sex, and are in competition with each other for the acquisition of women. Yet these beliefs created struggles within me, and my marriage. Then I sought out to explore the darker side of human nature. This caused me to cross paths with true corruption within the American Legal System, and set off a chain of events that would crush the hope, and self worth of most human beings. Taken into a world where freedom doesn't exist, and violence has free reign, I sought to survive, and renew myself, and escape the terrible destiny I had placed upon myself. This story brings to light the complex process of how the human spirit could seek things that would ultimately bring about it's own self- destruction. Yet deep within us all, lies a power that is able to overcome any situation that we may face. This story explores the themes of sexual deviancy, and self -betrayal. It sheds light on the darkside of human nature, and the corruption that exist in the American Legal System. Yet in the end it is a true story of the ability of the human spirit to persevere in the midst of unbelievable circumstances, and be triumphant. In the end it shows that true love does conquer all.
