In their lust for power, the gods from all the world's mythologies wage war across the planet, leaving widespread death in their wake. Fearful no mortals will remain alive to worship them, the gods agree to continue their fight by proxy in a final battle.

Each pantheon is to choose a single warrior to represent them, known as a proxy. The last proxy standing will become a god. The rest will die, along with the gods they represent. The proxy warriors fight to the death, and with so much on the line, the gods can't help but get involved. Chief among the chosen proxy are a Japanese detective, Jet Yoshimoto, and Greek thief Griffin Eadi-but only one can survive and emerge triumphant.

Proxy is an action-fantasy novel inspired by the gods of mythology. Several are selected to fight in the hopes of attaining godhood, but only the victor becomes immortal.
