Bottom Side Up is a bold and unflinching, warm and witty original account of a Chamber of Commerce Chief living and working in one of the ?ground zeros? of the Great Recession. In her authentic informal conversational style, Linda tells the story of how she, her family and the community lost their way during the economic meltdown. Bottom Side Up is a story about hand-holding ; Holding her mothers hand as she dies; Holding the hands of the business community as they close their doors; Holding the hand of her husband as he loses his job; holding the hands of her employees as they are forced to close the Chamber of Commerce; Holding the hand of her special needs grandson as they take him to raise; Holding the hands of political candidates as they wait for election results and finally learning to hold her own hand as she journeys through the narrows from prominence to anonymity? Breaking Open, Falling Apart, Coming Back as Something Else. Bottom Side Up is written in the warm conversational style that Linda?s followers have come to recognize as her signature style. Her stories make you feel as though you are sitting across the table having coffee with your best friend, a place you don?t want to leave.
