Jackie Linley is an eighteen year old girl from a small town who is in love with her boyfriend of six months, dependable Anthony Garcia who is twenty-five. He asks her to move to California to be closer to him and to start a new life. She has some terrifying experiences on the way there. She meets a charismatic stranger named Cal Rivers. This new life isn?t turning out how she thought it would. Cal is there for her at a critical time when she needs him, and Anthony is not. She starts to have feelings for Cal too. After some life changing experiences and someone close to Jackie gets hurt, she starts to question who she really is, deep down.
