One man's journey of what it was like being gay in Germany during WWII. Christoph Baecker is that man, and when our story begins we find him already arrested because of Paragraph 175 which was the laws against gays. Christoph in a singular moment in his arrest is destined toward Auschwitz, but before this event happens he finds true love. What happens to that intense love affair when the war rips them apart? How does he survive? What does he witness? Are they ever destined to see each other again? Mr. Dale spent two years researching and writing this story which was initially inspired by the death of the last known gay concentration camp survivor Rudolph Brazda. This book is an attempt to widen the literature that is available about being gay and living through the Holocaust. "Enjoyable, emotional, hard to read. I think what makes this come to life is the inner dialogue and thoughts that you break the story up with." --- Magan Mclaughlin "This is a very powerful piece and has great potential to pull your heart strings"--- Nicole Neeley "Wonderfully written, incredibly powerful and touchingly personal story of tragedy. It breaks my heart but you write it so beautifully"--- Adam Yeich
