Publisher Marketing: As a mother of four children, there were many goals and dreams of different things that I wanted to teach my children. Many of my goals I was able to reach with my children, others I was not. But I still kept putting forth the effort to teach as many things as possible. I didn't stop until they left home and even now there are times when I can still teach them something. The things I wanted to teach were bits of wisdom that I had learned through the years and others were things that I wish my own parents had taught me. As a music teacher, I worked for 20 years in a school environment. I was able to observe good parents, average parents, and poor parents as they raised their children. I learned much from my observations. My own learning is what I am trying to pass on to parents today. This book has some of my own goals and dreams in it, plus it also has other ideas that I learned from watching other parents. I learned ways to discipline and not discipline. I learned things to say to my children and not say to my children. I learned what children respond best to and what they don't. This is what I am sharing with you in this book. It is not comprehensive nor is it a deep philosophical book. It is a book that can be read quickly. It is light- hearted and fun.
