Publisher Marketing: The subjects addressed by the "Touched" series of books, are very controversial. Meaning that, instead of taking the punches, I started giving them back. That I have made many new enemies, who are exasperated, that I cannot be stopped. I am not a child any longer, and now I can fight on level ground. My work is formidable, it is true, and it is published. I consider this book, as a testimony to the lack of normalcy, that can be found in religious bullies. Those who enjoy making others hurt, and claim to be doing God's will! There are many instances, where mental illness can be created, and sustained, as an adult, because of what happened in their childhood. Sometimes though, what are self protection behaviors developed in a child, are diagnosed as mental illness. The source of it ignored, as continuous therapy with the victim, is much easier, and profitable. The purpose of this book is to show that such assumptions, are true. The only cure is to be exposed to a friendly life cycle environment. Where can this be found today? I could not, so I wrote this book, as all I needed to do, was look in the mirror. What was reflected back was my tormentor, now dead for twenty five years. A good way to inspire any work! This book is a "How To," for those parents looking for new ways, to destroy their child mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. It is a "How To" help you become more aware of what might be behind a child's dysfunctional behaviors. It is a testimony to rooting out these kind of people, and exposing their shame. The wonder, and disbelief, of why other kid's parents love them, and mine did not. This book is a "How To" grow up, and do it very quickly. In a dysfunctional family, the parents are in a constant state of combat. The mother, the father, or both, abuse their children. It is a "black comedy." This is a true story of how a child played a game of chess against his father, and put him in "Check Mate." If I have done this right, you will find some very funny life situations. Some of them will bring some of your own memories, back up to the surface. If I have done this right, you will have to push yourself to keep reading. That a child can be so brutalized, and still fight back, because what is happening is so very wrong. There is no greater hypocrisy, than to claim that you are disciplining your child, in the name of God! There is no greater miracle, that I am still here, and can write about the wrongs. If I can somehow save a little "Buddy," from what I had to endure, and sometimes could not, then this book was worth writing.
