MUSINGS...175 Reflections to Enliven Your Mind differs from traditional collections of philosophical rumination in that the deliberations contained in this book proceed from the intellect of a single individual and not from the minds of multiple writers. The aforementioned declaration is not intended to suggest in any way that the lone producer of the hundred and seventy-five ponderings presented in this book is superior to, or even on par with other thinkers and philosophers. The author is sure his thoughts reside on a plateau of intelligence and insight considerably lower than that applicable to logicians of international renown, and from whose musings readers are accustomed to derive inspiration and delight. As a matter of fact, the dilettante who presents the reflections in this book mulls over the possibility that the reader may encounter a fair measure of boredom and dissatisfaction, although he hopes there would be a few redeeming theories in the assemblage of notions. The varied nature of the subjects addressed in MUSINGS...175 Reflections to Enliven Your Mind makes it expectable that the reader would find some of the quotations controversial. It is not the author's intention to offend anyone, and he apologizes if he does. It is hoped the photographs showcased in this book would help accentuate the reader's enjoyment, or at least temper his or her possible distaste for the author's contemplative offerings.
