The Stillness of Winter Mr Vincent Watson 2. izdaja

The Stillness of Winter is the story of love stretched by the unfamiliar boundaries and complex emotions we all experience when love is new and trying to find a place in our hearts. It is the story of Samuel who returns home one day to discover that the love of his life had taken herself out of the equation they had strived to become, leaving only a short note scribbled on the back of a grocery list. It is the story of Marlys who manages Samuel through the days and months after his abandonment and who for her own reasons keeps him emotionally afloat when his own personal demons threaten to drag him desperately downward into darkness. It is also the story of Julia, who returns after a while intending to provide closure, but instead presents Samuel with ideas and concepts about love that he struggles to understand. The Stillness of Winter is a love story that grabs you by the heartstrings and tugs on them until you give in to the randomness that is learning to love someone you thought you knew better than yourself. It is about keeping those secrets that are better shared when love is new out of fear, the and friendship that is there to keep those dark at bay when it is threatened.
