Mermaid Cove Jennifer Hayden

Welcome to Mermaid Cove, where legends come to life... Magdalena Kincaid was Hollywood Royalty. She created a dynasty that took the silver screen by storm-until one night when she walked away from it all and disappeared from the limelight forever. Nearly forty years later, upon her death, she leaves everything she has to her granddaughter, Maggie, who knows all too well, the struggles of living up to the Kincaid family name in Hollywood. Maggie follows in her infamous grandmother's footsteps and walks away from her own successful acting career. She takes over her grandmother's rental business in the tiny town of Mermaid Cove, Washington and begins a new life. Her solitude doesn't last for long. Brody McCrae, Hollywood's notorious bad boy, shows up on her porch, on the run from the media and his own erratic behavior. Although Maggie has reservations, she lets him stay in one of her cottages. Before long, she realizes there is more to Brody than meets the eye. The closer the two get, the harder it is for her to walk away from the life she's desperate to leave behind. In the end she must make a choice between her newly acquired solitude and a man who unexpectedly latches onto her heart and refuses to let go.
