This book contains two Life in Jesus booklets -'What About Suffering?' & 'God Wants You To Be Well'. There is so much suffering in the world and many people wish they could understand why it happens. Some blame God, but it isn't God who causes suffering - He grieves at it as much as you do. It's true that He did sometimes use sickness as a punishment in Old Testament times, but He doesn't any longer. And it's Jesus' death on the Cross that made the difference. God doesn't send sickness and He doesn't want you to be sick. He wants you to be well. This booklet looks at how the Cross changed everything and will help you to stand against sickness. Together, these two booklets will help you to stop blaming God for suffering, and instead be confident that He wants only good for you, and always wants to lead you out of suffering into freedom, healing and victory.
