After adventures along the way, "Bruno" returns first to Melbourne, and then back to Hobart. The book has over 20 illustrations and shows photos and drawings explaining sailing details about ketches Conversations are reported concerning risk taking by some masters, and also spiritual matters. Storms and problems faced. The book is aimed from teenagers upwards. Books and internet references are given..but for a comprehensive book with the meaning of nautical words, obtain a copy of the author's 550 page book titles "Language of the Sea: From A to Z." Don Hamer sailed as an acting Chief Officer in the merchant navy, as far as India and Canada. He also sailed on sail training ships, and up to Chief Officer of the "Bounty" replica which sailed from New Zealand to Los Angeles, U. S. A. in 1984, for the release of "The Bounty" film. After getting engaged, he left the sea and worked ashore mainly as an Administrator in TV and Radio, and was a Radio reporter for over 8 years.
