Rindiao Noah Ras

Rindiao is in the country of Mauritania. It is a small village of 700 or 800 people. The best time of my life was when I was living in Rindiao with my parents, my siblings and friends. Looking back on my life now, I see that all my prayers were heard and answered, maybe not in the way that I wanted them to be, but God did answer. There was safety and freedom for us to explore our homeland and her friendly people. We were carefree back then. As children we, would spend hours away from home each day. Each day after we had finished helping our family with our chores, I was free to run around exploring my surroundings and experiencing the beauty of nature as only a boy or a child can appreciate. In most villages like ours, catching fish means surviving. This was certainly the case in Rindiao. I learned early on that catching a fish is not always easy, but it was certainly a fun thing to do to pass the time as a young boy.
