If you haven't had your life altering heat yet, I encourage you to bask in your innocence. When it occurs, there are humans like myself in the Universe to walk with you, so look for us. I sat where you're sitting a decade ago. Since then some things have changed. We can't return to a time when we didn't know much about grief. Back to the days prior to illness and knowing what the very real fear of losing a child feels like. It was time for that to settle in. You cannot un-learn, un-know or un-feel something. Once the events have carved themselves on the walls of your soul, there is no un-doing. Not even a massive cathartic renovation can return us to the innocent place we came from.
