Meet Madisyn Chambers - She has the career she wants, the friends she needs, the brother who protects, supportive parents, and the man of her dreams. Her life is perfect. Or so she thinks. Her man, Jason, has decided to throw a monkey wrench in her well thought out future plans; which causes her to raise questions around brothas and their relationships in regards to sistahs. She's educated, beautiful, financially sound and has no kids. Sure, she has an attitude to boot, but what sistah doesn't, right? Jason, like a lot of brothas it seems these days, doesn't want to deal with the headaches and power struggle that comes with dating a black woman. Madisyn wants to know - What's wrong with a sistah? In trying to solve this mystery, she and her girls lay out all the widespread misconceptions, untruths and unfair generalizations brothas love to use as excuses for dissin' a sistah. Anything from their bitterness and constant attitudes, to trying to run everything. The alternative? Any non-black woman, "the others," and their willingness to accept whatever he throws their way... No questions asked. Ultimately, Madisyn must face some of her own issues and prejudices and gets caught up in something unexpected; causing her to re-evaluate what she wants for her future. Will she open her heart and see that she just may have been looking for love in all the wrong faces?
