Wheeler and Woolsey
I Joseph Hyatt
Bert Wheeler and Robert Woolsey made 21 feature films as a team between 1929 and 1937 becoming one of the most popular comedy teams during the depression era. "Wheeler and Woolsey - The Clown Princes of Musical Comedy" presents over 100 rare and vintage images from the majority of their feature films. Trade advertisements and contemporary magazine articles round out this print collection of posters and lobby cards to show how these films were originally presented to contemporary audiences in their first theatrical runs, and to encourage viewing of these classic comedies today.
