This book is to get children an earlier start on the intellectual development process and put your child ahead of the competitive curve before getting into the formal grades education system. This is a very fun book for 5 to 6 years old children to work with. This book has two sections, the alphabet and handwriting section and math talent section. The alphabet and handwriting section utilizes the hollow font for tracing exercises. The uniqueness result of tracing a hollow font is that the traced letters will still look relatively neat and pretty after the hollows are filled by the practicing child. This will build up his or her confidence and interests on writing activities which are especially important for a young beginner. The math talent section, called Smart Counting in this book, on the other hand, focus on creative counting. The questions in this section of the book are arranged from easier to challenging so children would not feel overwhelmed, and sometime maybe too difficult, to resolve the challenging questions. Each counting question in this book are developed to build the foundation skills of solving the math word-problems which each child will be challenged once he or she get to the second and third grades. An earlier start will benefit your children enormously later on in their school life and keep them ahead of their peers in the competitive environment.
