Before the fabled town of Donbridge came to pass in the Hudson Valley, the Lenape people inhabited the region. They were led by a powerful spiritual leader, a Meteinu named Wanikiy who had two daughters, Leke and Yanaba. Through his love, he taught them his many skills in the hopes they would take over his duties as Meteinu to his tribe. But, unknown to him, his eldest daughter, Yanaba had an evil which welled inside of her. Overtime, she became distant and ever twisted in reality and soon left the village as many feared her. In her anger, she forged an emissary whom she called her Knighton King which she used to terrorize the villages of the Lenape. Yanaba, feeling as though her reign would never end, forged yet another creature, the great Panderlaub, but unknown to her, this being would hold the key to the land in both the present and the future.
