This effort carries bits and pieces of my life dating back to some early years to where I am at now in my life: 41 years, countless towns, cities, and states later. Volume 1 Tanka is the first volume of four. The introduction expresses my thoughts and laces up the avid reader on what they are about to experience with Tanka as well as other forms of Asian poetry.
