Daily, we are inundated with a multiplicity of responsibilities, thoughts, fears, and doubts. It's very easy to accumulate accolades and accomplishments, but still be imprisoned by the past and the matters of the heart. As adults, we have learned to acquiesce to the titles and labels that we wear. But, what do you do when the external life you live, doesn't match the inside life you really feel? What do you do when the smile you plaster across your face, doesn't mirror the gaping hole in your heart? How do you continue to contain those buried memories, acts, and encounters that are starting to seep out? There comes a time when you must "Press Pause," with yourself, in relationships, ministry, friends, family, jobs etc. We must stop looking for fulfillment, affirmation, approval and purpose externally; and start living internal; from the inside out!
